Travel the back roads to Phoenix through Florence, Arizona and visit St. Anthony’s Monastery.
Discover why the Arizona Cardinals and the Fiesta Bowl call State Farm Stadium home. Go into the areas not seen by the fans on game day, including the press box, an exclusive private loft, the NFL visiting team locker room, and a look up and around from the stadium floor. Travel to Lake Havasu, home of the London Bridge. Enjoy a river cruise and Don Laughlin’s Vintage Car Museum. Continue to Las Vegas and tour the Neon Graveyard. There will also be free time for your own enjoyment on this fabulous vacation!
Day 1: Meet at the airport for your included flight to Arizona. Arrive at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and continue by ground transportation to Tucson. Check into Desert Diamond. Dinner is included this evening. (D)
Day 2: Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. Travel to Benson and tour Kartchner Caverns. This stunning limestone cave boasts many world-class features that have been protected since the cave was discovered in 1974. Includes a picnic lunch. Desert Diamond. (B,L)
Day 3: Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. Today is at leisure for shopping or lounging at the pool. Just be sure to take in some sunshine. Desert Diamond. (B)
Day 4: Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. Travel the backroads to Phoenix through Florence, Arizona. Florence AZ is a time steeped in history and wonder. One of the oldest towns in Arizona, Florence is both the historical and cultural center of Pinal County. Visit St. Anthony’s Greek Monastery, which opened in 1955. Lunch is on your own at Mt. Athos. This afternoon, learn about Ranchers and Cowboys and how they lived and died in the Old West.Desert Diamond (B)

Day 7: Meals on your own. This morning, enjoy a river cruise and Don Laughlin’s Vintage Car Museum. Then, visit Oatman for lunch on your own. Continue to Las Vegas and tour the Neon Graveyard. Check into the Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas in the heart of the Fremont Street Experience. A light tour of Las Vegas is included this evening.Plaza Hotel and Casino
Day 8: Meals on your own. Enjoy a free day in Las Vegas. Perhaps you want to take a 2 hour private tour with Elvis in a 1956 Pink Cadillac, visit the Mob Museum, or take in one of the shows. We will help you with an optional tour that includes transportation or you can just enjoy a free day in Las Vegas at your leisure.Plaza Hotel and Casino
Day 9: Breakfast on your own. Transfer to Las Vegas Airport and fly back to Detroit.
