Revisit the dramatic history of World War II as Image Tours brings you to famous battle sites, war museums and memorials. Many scenic and cultural highlights are also included, providing an enjoyable combination of learning and leisure.

In Nuremberg admissions to the Palace of Justice and the Documentation Centre are included with your city tour.  Next is on to Dachau, where you can study the exhibit recounting the “path of the prisoners” and see the site of the former barracks at the Dachau Concentration Camp.

In Munich, the capital of Bavaria, you will see the Rathaus-Glockenspiel, and the pedestrian-only zone where historic buildings are cleverly interspersed with modern store fronts.  A two night stay in Austria provides the opportunity to participate in the optional Eagle’s Nest excursion. And while in Bastogne, Belgium, take time to view the star-shaped Mardasson Memorial.

Next explore Paris (The City of Light), which will reveal sights such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, Eiffel Tower, Opera, art museums and famous Champs-Elysees.

After Paris, travel onto Normandy to explore the Omaha and Utah Landing Beaches where the significance will surely hold moments of gravity. Also visit Amsterdam, where you’ll explore impressive architecture, the lively main square, and a gliding tour on a glass-topped canal boat.
